Ashley recently had an discussion about the usage of the term "Yarn Porn" on her blog. The comments both for and against are very interesting. I don't feel strongly either way. If a picture of animal or plant fiber excites you sexually, that's your deal. If appropriating a bad word such as "porn" or "bitch" or "queer" or whatever makes you feel more empowered, go for it.

All I know is I enjoy beautiful things, and this yarn delights most of my senses. The color is "Intenso" which is the best name for it ever. It is so soft I like to open my stash drawer to touch it while I'm completing mundane computer tasks. It smells a bit like vinegar. I didn't lick it. I'm not that weird.

Gorgeous color! I'm working with Malabrigo for the first time and loving every second of it :) Oh, and the vinegar smell seems to have gone away now that it's aired out for awhile.
