These socks were created when S requested a pair after seeing the Pedicure socks. We were looking for a house with hardwood floors at the time, and he wanted a thick pair of wool socks to slide around on them. One sock is fully in 2006, the other started well into the new year. But we found our house with hardwood floors; we get the keys on Wednesday, so these had to be done!

I'm very tired of ribbed socks, so for my next trick, I want to make some lacy ones out of the yarn bully yarn. I've started playing around with it, and it is very soft. The colors feel like little bits of spring and a yarn like that is nice to have around when every day is gray.
