When Texas freezes over...

Yesterday it was about 75 out. Right now, it's 28.
When I was in college, it got down to 25 and classes were canceled because it was so cold. No one knew what to do...I don't think I even owned a pair of close-toed shoes at that point in my life.

I know some of you have had ten times more snow than this since Labor day and are probably sick of it, but this only happens once in a blue moon here, and is cause for celebration. (Especially when schools shut down, like today.)
And just so this post isn't completely devoid of knitting content...
