Exciting stuff

*I didn't take this photo*
Well, I don't have a finished quilt to show, but I'm working really hard to complete it this week...because next week we are packing up all of our earthly possessions and moving to Austin!
I have wanted to move back to the hill country since I left three years ago. We. are. so. excited.
One of the best things about central Texas is the food. I haven't had a decent breakfast taco in YEARS. If you're not familiar with the joy that is the breakfast taco, here is acclaimed Austin director, Robert Rodriguez, to explain the process:

One of the best things about reading too many blogs is that they are overwhelmingly inspiring. The Ravelry folks are quitting their real jobs to work full time on the site and scores of people are designing patterns and writing books.
With S's blessing and support, I am quiting my job at The Man, Inc. and am going to be able to pursue my passion full time as well. I don't feel comfortable revealing more than that, but, well, I can't help but to share my joy and excitement. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! : )

And no, while I really enjoy my crafting, that's not what I will be doing. But, speaking of, if anyone has a local knitting store, Sn'B group or book club recommendation, I would love to hear it. In all of the happiness and excitement over our big move, there still lurks a little anxiety over going to a new city where I don't know many people.
